This deluxe power system charges a state of the art lithium battery system with three different sources: solar, alternator and shore power. All charging and discharging systems are automatically regulated to optimize battery performance. This system can power nearly all the comforts of home and even run an air conditioner for short periods of time.

Upgrade or Modification Options:
This complete kit is composed of five subsystems: Solar Charging, Battery Bank/Monitoring, Alternator Charging, AC Input/Output & DC Distribution. These subsystems can be removed or modified based on what you already have or want.
Changing the Panels: The charge controller can support a maximum of 450W, so 110W of solar panels with a similar Vmpp can be added. The easiest add-on would be another 90W panel assuming there is enough roof space. The current kit uses 2x 170W panels but these can be replaced with multiple smaller panels. You can also connect panels in series-parallel configurations if you have an even number, or even use a larger commercial solar panel as long as you reinforce the mounts and only parallel panels of a similar Vmpp.
Change the Charge Controller: The current charge controller core is rated for 30A and uses 6ga cable. If you plan to use less solar wattage, a smaller core like the 15A might be more economical. Or, if you want more than 450W, check out our 50A charge controller core with 4ga cable.
External Port: An external charging port can be added that would allow for the use of folding panels as long as the charge controller can handle the extra wattage.
AGM Batteries: The standard configuration of this kit comes with Lithium Batteries, but it will work with AGM batteries. Check out our various Lifeline AGM battery options 6V 220Ah, 6V 300Ah, 6V 400Ah and 12V 255Ah. All batteries need to be the same make, model and age.
Different Lithium Batteries: The standard configuration includes two 200Ah batteries. You can add two more 200Ah batteries or use different sizes like the 60Ah, 90Ah, 160Ah, or 300Ah. The Lithium Base Kit can support up to four batteries as long as they are all the same amp-hour rating.
AC and DC Distribution
More DC Outlets: The standard configuration comes with a 6 position fuse block. We have a 12 position block available. You can also get more outlets.
More AC Outlets: We include one AC outlet. If you need more, you can add them to the same breaker or other breakers in the sub panel.
Different Breakers: The standard configuration includes three duplex breakers 30/15, 20/15 & 15/15. There are many options.
Simplify the Inverter: If you don’t need the full 3000VA or a charger, you may be interested in one of our smaller stand alone inverter kits like the 250VA, 500VA, 800VA, or 1200VA. With these kits you also have the option of adding a shore power charger like a Progressive Dynamics 45A or 60A model or a clip on 7A charger. Also, the Multiplus 2000VA has a slightly different profile and is still capable of running a microwave, blender or coffee maker, but we don't recommend it for air conditioners.
Upgrade the Display: Add a wall mounted MPPT Control to monitor the charge controller or a Victron Color Control GX Monitor to show complete system status on a single animated display.
