30A Inverter/Charger Kits

Our 30A Inverter/Charger kits are designed for rigs that have a 30A AC service (3 Wire / L1- N -G), and that already have a 30A AC distribution panel and Shore power connection.

Our Full-Pass Kits are designed to be installed between your shore power connection and an existing AC distribution, in conjunction with a battery bank.

These kits are commonly used for replacing existing inverter/charger units or for upgrading existing inverter/charger/converter units in order to accommodate Lithium batteries.

MP2000 Full Pass – 99-FP2kVA : Full Pass kit for 30A rigs Utilizing a MultiPlus 12/2000/80-50 – 120V Inverter/Charger. This Kit is capable of 1600W out continuous and up to 4000W surge, AC charger is rated up to 80A w/ a 50A passthrough.

MP3000 Full Pass – 99-FP3kVA : Full Pass kit for 30A rigs Utilizing a MultiPlus 12/3000/120-50 – 120V Inverter/Charger. This Kit is capable of 2400W out continuous and up to 6000W surge, AC charger is rated up to 120A w/ a 50A passthrough. This kit contains the traditional Multiplus chassis.

MPII 1×120 Full Pass – 99-FP1x120 : Full Pass kit for 30A rigs Utilizing a MultiPlus-II 12/3000/120-50 1x120V Inverter/Charger. This Kit is capable of 2400W out continuous and up to 6000W surge, AC charger is rated up to 120A w/ a 50A passthrough. This kit contains the newer Multiplus chassis.

Victron MultiPlus Inverter/Charger Features:

Multi-functional
The MultiPlus is a powerful true sine wave inverter, a sophisticated battery charger that features adaptive charge technology and a high-speed AC transfer switch in a single enclosure. Models range from 800VA to 5000VA per module.

Unique PowerAssist feature
The MultiPlus will prevent overload of a limited AC source. First, battery charging will automatically be reduced when otherwise an overload would occur. The second level will boost the output of a generator or shoreside supply with power taken from the battery.

Uninterrupted AC power (UPS function) 
In the event of a grid failure or shore or generator power being disconnected, the inverter within the Multiplus is automatically activated and takes over the supply to the connected loads. This happens so fast (less than 20 milliseconds) that computers and other electronic equipment will continue to operate without disruption.

Virtually unlimited power thanks to parallel operation
Up to 6 MPs can operate in parallel to achieve higher power output. Three phase or split phase operation is also possible. Please check our data sheets to see which models have paralleling, three-phase and split phase capabilities.

Note: Some Keurig coffee makers are known to be incompatible with inverters. In some cases, this will just result in a loud buzzing noise while operating, and in other cases, it will result in inverter overload and failure to operate. This doesn’t mean your inverter will be damaged or that trying to use your coffee maker is dangerous; however, AM Solar cannot support compatibility issues resulting from a Keurig coffee maker. We recommend doing some research and purchasing a different coffee maker if you find yours to be incompatible with your inverter system.
